Very Expensive Chocolat…Bon appetit!
Chef Marc Guibert from the Lindeth Howe Country House Hotel in Windermere, England, had made the most expensive desert in the entire world. This chocolate miracle was built up as a Russian egg that you can unpack layer by layer. The pudding, which was layered with champagne jelly and a light biscuit joconde, was finished with bitter dark chocolate and glazed with edible gold leaf. It contains the best chocolate in the world, pure gold, champagne, caviar and…a two carat diamant!
The price tag may be the last problem to overcome…$34,684
